Position Overview:
Oversee and review the daily activities of the Accounting Department.
Review month-end activities and assist in financial statement preparation.
Develop system enhancements while maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley process narratives and internal control matrices to ensure financial calculations are accurate and operation is working efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and approve journal entries for accuracy and appropriate substantiation.
Manage entire monthly and yearly financial close.
Review partial & full contract terminations in Info-Lease for accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in processing restructures ensuring earned income is properly calculated.
Review booking checklist for accuracy.
Responsible for GL Account and Report Maintenance.
Review monthly account reconciliations ensuring the account balances are substantiated with appropriate support from sub-ledgers.
Ensure ACH accounts are set up on an accurate and timely basis.
Review and approve wires, sign checks.
Review monthly revenue recognition journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure numbers are accurately reported.
Review month end reports and prepare financial statement analytics & monthly Business Results analysis.
Complete various surveys, ELA annual & monthly, Government annual & quarterly, Monitor, etc.
Review monthly Portfolio Sales Reports with Management.
Prepare and present to Controller monthly budget vs. actual financial analysis.
Manage the day-to-day E&Y audits, SOX audits & other internal audits.
Day-to-Day management of Accounting Department staff and responsibilities.
Assist in developing system enhancement to automate routine or eliminate inefficient processes, while providing a systematic audit trail.
Assist in periodic IT projects.
Update Sarbanes-Oxley financial reporting process narratives as changes are implemented.
Manage Internal Control process pertaining to Sales Recognition, Procurement (A/P), G/L Account & report Maintenance & Account Reconciliations.
Back up for Controller.
Responsibility and Decision Making Authority:
Act independently; decision making within Company policy.
Approve wires, sign checks.
Management/Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise accounting department staff of eight.
Qualifications/Competencies:

Knowledge of Info-Lease, Classic, Great Plains.
Advanced proficiency using Excel and Word.
Working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Education and Experience:
BS in Accounting.
5-7 years experience in all aspects of accounting.
Licensing and Certification: CPA and MBA a plus.
Working Hours: Hours may vary and will require evening work and weekends depending on business needs and will require working overtime.
Tools and Equipment Used: Personal computer, copier, fax, phone, and other typical office equipment.
Travel: Minimum travel required.
Physical Demands:

POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and controlling those activities related to the preparation of timely and accurate general ledgers, financial statements and internal and external financial reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct and review the recording of activity in the various general ledgers, records and reports to insure their integrity.

Controls and directs the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial data in compliance with lenders' agreements.

Performs and/or coordinates corporate technical accounting and reporting research to ensure adherence to GAAP and SEC requirements.
Manage the development and testing of enhancements to the mechanized reporting systems (Microsoft Office, Hyperion, etc).
Review and manage internal control structure for efficiency and effectiveness - including managing the implementation of policy, procedures and methods for Cantera and Field accounting.
Interface with and support needs of various company entities and departments through teamwork and technical advice.

REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

The Controller for Océ Financial Services is responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting of a leasing captive and prepares and monitors the annual budget and strategic plan. Qualifications:
