CONTRACTS MANAGER

In this position, selected candidate manages all aspects of new and ongoing contracts and related amendments entered into between Océ Financial Services, Inc. and all customer types to include the origination, preparation, and negotiation of both standard and negotiated contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the definition of terms of all customer contracts for Lease, Rental, and Municipal Agreements including Contract Amendments and Renewal Agreements. 
  • Negotiates deviations from standard contract terms with customers and their legal representatives.
  • Drafts standard documentation and contract addendums, special-use forms and negotiated non-standard contract amendments, reviews modified contract provisions and obtains OFSI management/legal counsel approval as required.
  • Maintains OFSI Lease Agreements according to industry standards and business requirements/changes.
  • Create New OFSI Agreements as necessary.
  • Communicate, and negotiate with OFSI funders on non-standard OFSI documentation terms and conditions to ensure salability of OFSI Contract.
  • Provides interpretation of contract language, obligations, commitments and performance requirements as required.
  • Perform monthly audit on selected booked transactions to ensure documentation acceptance is in accordance to OFSI written policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 9 years experience in developing and administering contracts or in a directly related work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales, leasing, maintenance and license agreements.
  • Good understanding of municipal agreements helpful.
  • Working knowledge of uniform commercial code, business administration, litigation and accounting.
  • Solid understanding of contract law.
  • Solid knowledge of audit and general accounting activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word.
